Key Decisions
- Pergola placement extends the patio footprint without foundation work, creating shade and defining the adult zone while keeping sightlines to the kids' play areas.
- String lights + wall sconces layer lighting for evening use without running buried electrical across the septic field.
- Above-ground hot tub on the stone pad provides hydrotherapy without the cost, permitting, or excavation of an in-ground pool.
- Mulched bed borders with hydrangeas and grasses soften hard edges, improve drainage, and hide utility areas without complex grading.
