## Key Decisions
- **Rug-first layout**: The oversized warm-toned rug anchors the seating zone and creates a clear walking path between sofa and media wall, improving flow without moving fixed elements.
- **Closed storage media console**: Oak-look cabinet with frosted doors hides cables and miscellany, keeping the narrow room visually quiet and renter-friendly.
- **Asymmetric lighting pair**: Arc floor lamp behind the TV wall plus a small table lamp near the sofa offers evening warmth without ceiling dependency.
- **Curtain expansion**: Sheer panels mounted wider than the door frame soften the glass edge and make the balcony feel like intentional outdoor square footage.
