- Vertical oak cabinet flanks the TV wall with closed storage below (popcorn machine lives here, door shut) and open display above for books and collected objects.
- Recessed lighting + single floor lamp avoids competing fixtures; the matte black arc lamp adds evening task light without ceiling visual noise.
- Neutral textured rug defines the seating zone, softens hardwood acoustics, and tolerates heavy use without showing wear.

Sizing Note
