Design Report & Material List
## Design Concept
This design bridges your existing green sofas and black dining table through a warm, earthy palette that keeps the space feeling open and cohesive. The rounded walnut coffee table and soft neutral rug create a visual "breathing zone" between the bold seating pieces, while layered lighting adds depth without heaviness.
## Key Decisions
- **Curved coffee table**: The oval walnut piece softens the room's geometry and its warm tone links the green sofas to the black dining table without competing with either.
- **Layered lighting scheme**: Wall sconces + table lamp + ceiling fan light create evening ambiance; you can adjust brightness for dining or relaxing without installing new wiring.
- **Textured neutral rug**: The low-pile, distressed-look rug defines the living zone, absorbs echo on glossy floors, and hides daily wear in a high-traffic apartment.
- **Minimal, sculptural accents**: Single fiddle leaf fig, simple glass vase, and stacked books keep surfaces clean for actual living while adding organic height variation.

## Sizing Note
The coffee table shown is approximately 47"L x 24"W x 16"H—low enough to not block sightlines across the open plan, with enough surface for remotes, drinks, and feet-up lounging. If your sofa depth differs, maintain 14-18" clearance between sofa edge and table edge for easy movement.
