Design Concept

Key Decisions
- Properly scaled area rug (8x10 ft) with front legs of all seating on the rug unifies the furniture group and defines the conversation zone
- Triptych artwork at two-thirds sofa width draws the eye upward and fills the wall proportionally without competing with the tray ceiling
- Layered lighting from the chandelier, table lamps, and natural light allows adjustable ambiance from bright daytime to intimate evening
- Muted blue and rust accent pillows add subtle color interest against the neutral upholstery, easily swapped seasonally
