## Design Concept

## Key Decisions
- **Rug as foundation**: The 9x12 low-pile rug in warm ivory sits fully under the sofa front legs and extends 18" beyond, visually containing the large sectional without blocking the balcony flow.
- **Curved coffee table**: A 36" round oak-veneer table with soft edges prevents bumped knees, encourages circulation, and breaks up the room's rectilinear lines.
- **Layered lighting**: Dimmable globe chandelier plus plug-in sconces and table lamps create evening warmth without relying on harsh overheads.
