Walnut-and-Charcoal Storage Wall
The central challenge was integrating an ornate, inherited carved headboard without letting it dominate or clash with the room's clean architecture. The design intent was to build a visual bridge between the bed's traditional craftsmanship and midcentury modern restraint. By wrapping the wardrobe in matte white and charcoal panels with open walnut shelving, the storage wall becomes a graphic anchor that echoes the headboard's dark carved outlines while providing daily utility. The burnt-orange rug and abstract painting pull warm tones forward, and the navy scribble curtains add movement without competing. This Bedroom now reads as intentional and layered rather than mismatched.

Implementation Note
The wardrobe color blocking requires precise panel alignment: if applying adhesive film or painting existing doors, remove hardware first and use a level to keep the charcoal band height consistent across all surfaces.
