## Key Decisions
- **Desk flipped to wall-facing position** — eliminates corridor distraction and creates a defined "study nook" against the plain back wall.
- **Under-desk cable tray + wireless peripherals** — removes cord spaghetti from sightlines; the single task lamp provides adequate illumination without competing overhead glare.
- **Slim vertical file cabinet** — replaces open shelving, hiding papers and supplies within arm's reach while maintaining floor clearance.
- **Neutral layered textiles** — the low-pile rug and blackout curtain soften acoustics and light for better sleep quality after study sessions.

## Sizing Note
The 47" desk fits the 52" wall zone with 2.5" clearance on each side—measure your exact wall width before ordering, as many "compact" desks run 55"+ and will overhang into the walkway.
