## Design Concept
This design channels European farmhouse warmth through reclaimed textures and honest materials. The exposed ceiling structure stays visible while everything else softens the space into an intimate, approachable dining room.
## Key Decisions
- **Layout:** Three small tables replace one large communal surface, allowing flexible seating for couples and small groups without dead space
- **Lighting:** Rattan pendants cast downward glow that flatters food and faces; wall sconces add perimeter warmth without competing with the windows
- **Window seat:** Custom banquette maximizes the single large window, turning the best light into prime real estate
- **Sideboard:** Long reclaimed piece anchors the wall, provides service surface, and carries the room's material story at standing height
