## Key Decisions
- **Symmetrical seating pairs** (two armchairs flanking the balcony, sofa and single chair opposite) create natural flow for both entertaining and daily lounging without blocking the room's best light source.
- **Low-profile furniture** with visible legs keeps the floor plane continuous, making the 8-9 ft ceiling feel taller and the narrow room breathe.
- **Warm-dim lighting strategy**: Table lamps at multiple heights replace harsh overhead light, letting you shift from functional brightness to evening ambiance.
- **Textured but tonal rug** (gray-beige abstract pattern) hides urban foot traffic while grounding the seating group without competing with the view.
