- **Warm tonal layering**: Creamy walls (Sherwin Williams Alabaster or similar) and soft off-white trim bounce natural light from the window deep into the corner, making the compact space feel open and morning-bright.
- **Natural wood & woven accents**: Cutting boards, wicker storage, and the jute rug introduce organic texture without visual weight—rustic character that ages gracefully and hides daily wear.
- **Cleaner countertop rhythm**: Grouped canisters and a single coffee station reduce visual noise; the empty counter space between sink and stove prioritizes actual cooking workflow.
- **Matte black hardware & fixtures**: The faucet, cabinet pulls, and pendant-style ceiling light create quiet cohesion against warm taupe cabinets, bridging farmhouse and western aesthetics without trend-chasing.
