This living room balances warmth and restraint by anchoring the rust-brown feature wall with an oversized abstract canvas that echoes the room's tonal palette. Key Decisions
- Single oversized artwork (2.5m wide) creates immediate visual hierarchy and eliminates the need for multiple pieces that could feel busy on the expansive wall
- Up-down sconce lighting grazes the wall to enrich the terracotta paint depth and cast soft evening ambiance without glare
- Low-profile nesting tables preserve sightlines and flexibility for entertaining, while the charcoal upholstery grounds the warm tones
- Curtains hung high and wide frame the window and extend the perceived wall height, working with the sloped ceiling rather than against it

Sizing Note
