## Design Concept
This living room layers warm, saturated tones—teal, terracotta, and deep green—against a creamy neutral shell to create an eclectic but grounded space. ## Key Decisions
- **Oversized area rug (8×10 ft)** anchors both sofas and the coffee table, correcting the previous floating-furniture feel and adding acoustic softness to the wood floors
- **Full-height linen-blend curtains with subtle botanical print** extend from ceiling to floor, visually elongating the 9 ft walls and filtering harsh daylight into a warm glow
- **Balanced lighting triangle**: rattan floor lamp + adjustable task lamp + wall sconce eliminates dark corners and supports evening reading without overhead glare
- **Edited gallery wall** clusters mixed frames at a single focal height, preventing visual clutter while preserving the collected, travel-souvenir personality

## Sizing Note
