## Design Concept
This living room layers rich midcentury tones—walnut, olive, rust, and mustard—against your existing white brick and warm leather to break up the beige without overwhelming the space. The result is relaxed and functional: graphic visual anchors, sculptural lighting, and purposeful negative space that lets the architecture breathe.
## Key Decisions
- **Rug as room anchor:** The oversized 8x10 patterned rug defines the seating zone, adds graphic contrast to the carpeted floor, and grounds the neutral sofa so furniture reads as intentional, not floating.
- **Asymmetric lighting mix:** The arc floor lamp, pendant, and yellow table lamp create three heights of warm light for evening flexibility; black metal finishes tie them together visually.
- **Curated TV wall:** A single large abstract artwork above the console simplifies the brick wall, while the floating cube shelf adds dimensional storage without cluttering the vertical plane.
- **Plant placement for depth:** Fiddle leaf fig fills the corner void near the arc lamp; monstera by the window connects interior to exterior greenery and balances the room's right side.

## Styling Tip
Keep the TV console surface almost empty—stack 3-4 books horizontally with a small ceramic object on top, and leave the rest clear. The walnut grain and clean lines do the visual work; clutter competes with your new artwork above.
